WE ARE FINALISTS!!
We are super delighted to announce we have made it through to the BII's Licensee of the Year Award 2024.
This is such an incredible achievement to make it this far!
What an overwhelming feeling to be putting Burnley on the map once again - the next stage is to head down to Sky HQ on Monday 17th June and present in front of 3 panels of judges.
It is then a quick turnaround to find out whether we have won the award at their summer event on 18th June.

A very proud announcement from us, we have been shortlisted for not one, but two awards at the Burnley Business Awards!
We are up for 'Small Business' and also the 'Leisure, Tourism and Hospitality' Awards.
Being recognised in our hometown is such a huge feeling as we know how lucky our town is to be full of all sorts of incredible businesses. Thank you so much for all your support!
We wish all the nominees best of luck, the awards are held on Thursday 4th July where we find out who the winners are.

We are proud to announce we have finally joined the Burnley Bondholders scheme. This is a private-sector led, private/public partnership dedicated to raising the prosperity and profile of the borough; an innovative and successful scheme which has been growing since 2009 and now has over 200 members.

APRIL FOOLS!!!
Yes, we were up to our old tricks again this year for April Fools.
So if you didn't already know, unfortunately we are NOT expanding into a hotel. We teased followers across our socials with a fake email from 'Burnleh Council' and fake draft plans, but of course it was all just a joke!
We aren't planning to expand just yet, but after all the well wishes and support, who knows what the next few years will bring.

What another fantastic event, and 137 came into the pub to place your votes. Some very well deserved winners, congratulations to those who won and also to everyone who was nominated.
It's incredible to see how much love and support we have here at The Royal Dyche, see you again next year for our 2025 awards!
SUPER, SUPER GLEN!
It was an absolute pleasure for us to welcome former Clarets player Glen Little to The Royal Dyche after our 5-0 win against Sheffield United on 2nd December.
An evening with Glen was full of stories from his career and tales from his time at the club. The Burnley legend went on to answer the crowds questions before having photos with fans.
It was a fantastic evening, we cannot thank Glen enough and look forward to welcoming him back again soon!
Our bar staff Leann and manageress Kyah were thrilled to get a picture with him behind the bar, we will have to get him pulling pints next time.

WINNER WINNER
We are completely blown away after scooping the 'Best Pub to Watch Sport' at The Great British Pub Awards 2023.
The event was held on 19th September at Victoria Warehouse in Manchester and presented by Edith Bowman. We were up against venues from London, Leeds and Kent but managed to edge it with compliments heavily towards our Burnley FC themed venue. Thank you to our team of staff and all our customers for your support over this last decade!
CLARET & BLUE POOL TABLE
The new pool season for the Burnley Independent Pool League is underway and so we have a fresh luck for our new season.
Both our A and B teams are playing in the C Division this year and played each other on the opening game - with the game finishing as a draw!
Good luck to both our teams this season.
FRIDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL TAKEOVER
Well the Premier League season has begun and our Clarets opened things up on Friday 11th August against Man City. Despite the 3-0 defeat we had a very special day with football legends Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher paying us a visit.
Sky Sports did some filming for the match build up and also interviewed our landlady Justine - what an experience!
£2155.72 RAISED AT PRINFEST 2023
A huge thank you to everyone who donated at our annual music festival this weekend. A whopping £2155.72 was raised for local charity Pendleside Hospice.
It was our 5th year of PrinFest which originall began under our old pub name The Princess Royal. A free music festival for our local community boasting over 30 local acts, bands and DJ's. A great day out with the best atmosphere, shout out to our team of hard working staff!
GREAT BRITISH PUB AWARD FINALISTS
We are pleased to announce we have been chosen as a Finalist in this years Great British Pub Awards for ‘Best Pub To Watch Sport’.
This is a really proud achievement for us again, competing with some of the biggest chains in the hospitality industry.
The awards are on 19th September where we will find out who the winners are, Wish us luck!

Thank you to everyone who generously donated at our 4th July free BBQ, we raised £54.82 for Mind Charity!
Great to see so many of you out and supporting a great cause. Hope everyone enjoyed a free burger at Open Deck Night.
SPECIAL GUESTS PAY A VISIT
On Sunday 7th May we were blown away when NFL legend JJ Watt and his wife and USA soccer star Kealia Watt dropped in for a surprise visit!
The pair enjoyed a pint as well as a quick tour and some live music in the beer garden. Both have recently invested in the football club and were keen to get to know our local community. It was such a pleasure to have them!
SPECIAL GUEST DJ JORDAN NORTH
After the Burnley v Cardiff game on bank holiday Monday, our customers were treated to something very special.
Radio 1 DJ and I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here runner-up Jordan North made an appearance! Not only did he visit for a pint he jumped on the decks and entertained the beer garden crowd.
The spontaneous DJ set went down a storm with our clientele and it was a great ending to our final game of the season, a Promotion Party we will never forget!
APRIL FOOLS PRANK
On Saturday 1st April we were up to our old tricks again, fooling so many of you with our photoshopped images of our new name and signage 'The Royal Kompany'.
Sadly for most this was untrue, ignore all the rumours people, we forever remain as The Royal Dyche!
2023 PUB AWARDS WINNERS
On Sunday 26th March we held our Pub Awards Event, a great evening with plenty of laughs and banter!
The red carpet was out, with prosecco on arrival and live music from Billy & the Biscuit Brothers.
A huge congratulations to all our nominees and of course our winners - Very well deserved!
